Limited to 25 places

A bright, bold, exclusive summer course of four workshops for committed writers with award-winning writers sharing both their work and their winning ideas.

Designed by writer and Word Factory director Cathy Galvin, founder of the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Award and a judge of leading literary prizes, this course will prepare you for the motivation, discipline and practicality of refining your work and getting it published. You will also be offered a chance to read your work at a special summer event later in the year attended by literary agents.

Class sizes will be kept to 25 maximum.

To make the most of the course, be prepared to do some background reading and undertake writing tasks at and between the sessions. There will be spaces for you to discuss your work with other attendees after sessions in our Breathing Spaces group, led by Linda Quinn. And make sure not to lose out on booking your place at a variety of salons with your tutors during the season.
