Alison Lock

Alison Lock is a poet and writer of short fiction whose work has appeared in anthologies and journals in the UK and internationally. She is the author of six publications – three poetry collections, two short story collections, and a fantasy novella. Her stories have won prizes in The London Magazine Competition 2015, The Sentinel Quarterly Review, and The 14th Conference for the Short Story in English at Shanghai. In her recent collection, A Witness of Waxwings, there are ‘shifts of light, perception, slips into other realms, where people are inhabited by birds, selkies and sprites.’
