Ian Sansom is a writer, journalist and broadcaster. A former columnist for the Guardian, he is the author of more than a dozen novels, including the Mobile Library series and the County Guide series, and is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4. He writes for the Guardian, the Spectator, the New Statesman and the TLS. A former Director of the Oscar Wilde Centre at Trinity College Dublin, he is currently a Professor at Queen’s University Belfast.
