Julie Abrams-Humphries is Writer in Residence for Talliston House in Essex. An award winning writer of children’s stories, she has written Young Adult novels, short stories (some read at The Word Factory and Birkbeck, where she did a creative writing MA), feature articles for SCBWI and she ghost writes memoirs for Story Terrace. One short story won the Wasafiri International Life Writing Prize in 2017 and she’s developing it into a novel with the help of Wasafiri via The Literary Consultancy with Kerry Hudson as her mentor.
