Join award-winning Leone Ross – author of the Women’s Prize longlisted novel This One Sky Day and Giselle Leeb, whose debut collection of short stories Mammals, I Think We Are Called is published this month – as they discuss the importance of developing and sustaining the right writing relationships: finding the people who will encourage you and give the honest, insightful feedback your work needs.
Giselle, a winner of the 2019 Word Factory Apprentice Award, was mentored by Leone as she worked on her collection. In this informal and informative afternoon conversation, they discuss how that process worked for them – as well as offering advice and reading from their work.
