The deadline for our Word Factory Political Short Story Award, offering a 9 month mentorship with the legendary Jacob Ross, is fast approaching on 31 May 2023. The award is inspired by the stories of our former Apprentice Award Winner Uschi Gatward, whose wonderful collection English Magic was published by Galley Beggar Press shortly after she received a cancer diagnosis.
